Return Policy Quick Overview
- Products must be returned within 30 days of receipt
- Damaged products must be reported within 5 days of receipt
- Products must be new, unused, re-sellable, and complete
- Products must be uninstalled, in original packaging, including manuals
- Products must not be welded, mounted, or altered in any way
- Product seals must not be broken
- All returns will be inspected and are subject to approval
- Colt Cams may refuse returns of special-order items
- Colt Cams may refuse any shipment without an RMA number attached to the return
- RMA number must be noted on the outside of the box
- Products must be packaged securely with the original box intact and not altered in any way
- Returns must be boxed in a separate box to protect the original packaging
- Possible Restocking Fee of 15% for all returns
- Possible Repackaging Fee of 10% for damaged original packaging incurred by customer action
- Special order items that are canceled prior to receipt may incur up to 10% deducted from the refund
- Missing items and all other discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of receiving the shipment
- Colt Cams will immediately rectify any shipping errors reported within 7 days of receiving the shipment
Return Policy
Customers are to return the product within 30 days of receipt. Products must be new, unused, re-sellable with all pieces included. Colt Cams will not accept the return if the product is damaged from attempted install, used, or if the product is shipped without the original box, manual, or parts to include any tampering of electrical parts or product seals, and any customer action that prevents Colt Cams from re-selling the product. Product information must match that which was sent to the Customer. Any parts that have been installed, mounted, welded, or altered in any way will not be accepted. All returns are subject to approval and must have an RMA number attached to the return which must be noted on the outside of the box, those that do not will be refused. All returns will be inspected and a credit will be subject to approval upon successful inspection of the returned product. A restocking fee of 15% may be incurred on all return shipments and return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. A repackaging fee of 10% will also be incurred for any original packaging damage that was incurred by customer action. Missing or damaged items including all shipment discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of receipt. Please contact customer service for any questions and assistance. When sending a return, it is encouraged to email a picture pre-shipment to best assist in any claim or other problems with shipments. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash. Valid as store credit at coltcams.com only. Returned items for refund will be refunded as store credit only.
How to obtain an RMA number
Returns require an RMA number to be accepted. To receive an RMA number, please call 435-233-2133 or email customerservice@coltcams.com. To complete a return, we require proof of purchase.
Refund Process
Upon receipt and successful inspection of your return, the refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to the original method of payment. This also includes the possibility of in-store credit. On occasion, there can be delays with refunds posting to bank accounts, if your refund is taking longer than anticipated please contact your bank, and/or your credit card company as processing times may vary. Credits will be automatically applied to your original chosen payment method on file.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
Colt Cams will replace any defective or damaged items with the same item originally ordered. To exchange and replace the item please email customerservice@coltcams.com to receive an RMA number. Please refer to the Return Policy for any direction or questions about the return process.
Colt Cams Shipping Insurance
Colt Cams’s shipping insurance solution was created to assist customers with damaged shipments, theft, and other discrepancies such as lost shipments. To utilize this service, you must select the shipping insurance option during checkout. Colt Cams’s shipping insurance covers your entire order and should you need to start a claim, this hassle-free process was designed to resolve shipping problems and put your mind at ease. Shipping insurance details:
- For domestic shipments that have not arrived on their expected date please wait 14 days before filing a claim
- For international shipments that have not arrived on their expected date please wait 30 days before filing a claim
- Claims must be filed by the Customer within 60 days of the shipment leaving a Colt Cams facility
- On the rare occasion that the product to be replaced is no longer available, the customer has the option to choose in-store credit for the original purchase price of the product
- Colt Cams’ shipping insurance is nonrefundable unless the insurance is canceled prior to your order being shipped. An order is classified as shipped once a tracking number has been generated
The Customer Service rep that is assisting you with your claim will be able to give you processing times and tentative shipping times for your replacement. Claim processing may take approximately 5 to 10 business days. On average your replacement product will be shipped within 2 to 3 business days. Disclaimer: Colt Cams’ processing and shipping times may vary greatly depending on limited product availability and carrier times. This Shipping insurance is non-transferable and is closed within 60 days of the shipment leaving a Colt Cams facility. Colt Cams reserves the right to select a carrier at their choice for your replacement product. This service is a product replacement program and is limited to the original purchase price of the product. This service provides a maximum of one replacement for each product. Colt Cams reserves the right to amend this agreement at any time.
